Winsor and Newton Acrylic Clear Gesso

Winsor & Newton's range of Clear Acrylic Gesso Primers are an excellent choice for preparing your canvas or board for a whole range of paint media, including acrylics, oils, watercolour and gouache.

It is non-yellowing, dries quickly, is flexible and will dry to a completely clear matt finish with excellent tooth for your media to adhere to.

One coat should be enough to prepare a canvas or board and can be applied straight on with a suitable brush or alternatively it can be watered down by up 25% for a thinner consistency.

If you're a little tired of painting onto a white ground it can be tinted by using any acrylic colour to create coloured grounds.

Winsor & Newton's Clear Acrylic Gesso Primer is available in a selection of sizes so you can be sure to find a primer that suits the job.

Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded, except larger/heavy orders which will be delivered via courier.

Orders will generally take 2-4 workings days to deliver providing the requested items are currently in stock.  If there is an issue with your order you will be informed by e-mail.
