Working with soft pastels can often be a joy as they take to the paper like a duck to water and blend together with ease, making this a fantastic, low-stress drawing medium.

As soft pastels are simple to use and are not restricted by colour, they make an excellent drawing medium for a huge range of subject matter, and can be used on almost any surface as long as there is a small degree of texture making them a truly versatile piece of kit.
