Metal Glue

Sticking metal is a bit of a tricky one.  If you were sticking two metals together, the most ideal way would be to fuse them together by soldering or welding, but sometimes that’s not possible.

If you’re sticking a metal to another material such as wood or plastic, fusing isn’t really an option either, so metal glues seem to be the best way to go!

There is actually more glues that are suitable for metal than you might think, ranging from simple all-purpose adhesive to two-part epoxy glues, and all will provide adequate hold for any smaller scale jobs such as model making, putting together a costume, fixing small jewellery pieces or anything else you could possibly think of.

There’s also a nice wee selection of metal glue brands, including the glue giants UHU, so you’ll be sure to find something that fits the project.  We don’t recommend working on a big scale, however, as the weight of the metal may overpower the strength of the glue!
