You don’t always have to have inks that have been specifically formulated to be used for screen printing whilst you’re printing away, as another solution exists that may save you a little money if you’ve got some acrylic paint kicking around.
Screen printing mediums are some of the handiest things to have around when you’re screen printing, as they allow you to turn your regular, run-of-the-mill acrylic paints into screen printing inks, simply by mixing the two together.
There are two types available; a regular screen printing medium which is best for mixing with your acrylic paint to create an ink for graphic printing and a fabric screen printing medium which can turn your acrylic paint into a pliable fabric ink.
If used wisely, these products can save you alot of dosh, and coming from such brands as Daler Rowney System 3 and Golden, you know their the bees knees in terms of quality!
