Pebeo Studio Acrylic Colour

A new addition to our range of acrylics, Pebeo’s Studio High Viscosity Acrylics represent great value for money and excellent quality all rolled into one.  Their heavy body makes them ideal or most painting applications as they retain brush and knife strokes extremely well yet are thick enough to be thinned down for large coverage and washes without sacrificing much in the way of depth and vibrancy.  Being acrylic, it is pretty much perfect on any material including, paper & card, canvas, wood, glass, plastic, metal, the list goes on!  It will dry fairly quickly (between 1 and 8 hours) and will dry to a permanent, satin finish, so be careful not to get it on your good clothes or on the carpet!  There are three sizes available, with 61 colours available in 100ml tubes, 35 colours in 250ml tubes,  25 colours in 500ml jars and 10 colours in 1l jars.

A recent addition to our oil colour selection, Pebeo XL Studio is a range of excellent value oils that are perfect for students and amateurs due to their affordable price and great quality.   Available in three sizes: a 75ml tube, a 200ml tube and 700ml tin and with a broad selection of 48 colours there are plenty of options to suit any project.  Their lower drying time than other oil paints gives them the advantage of being capable of taking new coats just a few hours after the previous coat, but will not be ready for varnishing for another 6 9 months in true oil style!  They also are fairly low odour, so are perfect for anyone who can’t abide the smell of oils!  A number of sets are also available, perfect for a beginner or anyone looking to have a bash at painting with oil paints.

Altelier Interactive Acrylic Colour – 2 for 1

Atelier Interactive Acrylic Colour is no ordinary acrylic paint.  It stays “open” longer, allowing you to work into the paint for hours, even days before it dries through, making it perfect for those who enjoy the qualities of painting with oil colour.

Derwent Pastel Pencils – 2 for 1

A brand known for their quality pencils, Derwent Pastel Pencils offer a soft, smooth pastel texture, all without getting your hands dirty!  When working with soft pastels, these pastel pencils can provide the perfect solution to creating more linear and finer, more detailed work as they are slightly harder than Derwent Soft Pastels. giving them much more control and the same great coverage.  The ability to sharpen them may also seem trivial, but this can work wonders when you require sharper lines!  The colours are vibrant and have a soft, velvety texture making them perfect for a huge range of subject matter from portraits to landscapes.
