Pencils

Pencils may not seem like the most interesting product on the planet, and have had some bad press over the last few decades as being boring since the new and exciting “pen” came on the market.  What everyone is forgetting is that there are hundreds of pencil types available that can do so many weird and wonderful things.

If you’re into a bit of old monochromatic pencil drawing there’s plenty to choose from with graphite, carbon and charcoal pencils from great brands such as Staedtler, Conté and Wolff’s, or if you fancy getting your hands on some colour pencils there’s a plethora of ranges from brands such as Derwent, Caran D’Ache, and Faber Castell which cover simple coloured pencils to water-soluble pencils and pastel pencils.  Suddenly they’re not so boring anymore!
