A favourite amongst... well... everyone really, charcoal, graphite and pastels are an excellent drawing medium for a whole host of subjects and are perfect for both beginners and professionals. Who would have thought drawing with a bit of charred wood or clay could be so much fun?

There is a good selection of willow charcoal and compressed charcoal available in a variety of sizes and hardnesses from great brands such as Winsor & Newton and Derwent, excellent quality graphite sticks from brands such as Lyra and Conté and an enormous selection of soft pastels, oil pastels and hard & chalk pastels from renowned brands such as Rembrandt, Unison, Sennelier and Caran D’Ache.
