Canvas Boards

If you have found working with canvases to be just a little too bulky or cumbersome, and paper just too fragile or flexible, there is one product that meets in the middle between these two painting surfaces: canvas boards.

Canvas boards allow you to still paint on 100% cotton duck canvas that has been properly stretched and primed, but instead of round stretchers it has been stretched around a stiff board making it a much thinner painting surface than regular canvas. 

Canvas boards are also relatively inexpensive thanks to their simple make-up, and offer an excellent painting solution for those who are cramped for storage space or those who would like a solid painting surface that is easy to take on location.

Canvas boards are also the ideal choice for beginners who don’t feel quite ready to take the plunge into painting on canvas, but just want a wee taster.
