Happy Birthday Ingres!
Today’s the birthday of Jean Auguste Dominque Ingres (1780-1867). This Neo-classicist is most famous for his portrait work. However, we personally know him better as the man who lent his name to Ingres paper, our wonderful quality pastel paper!
