Art Sets

Getting started in drawing and painting can often be a daunting task.  What products to buy, how much you need of them, what accessories you need to get; the list is endless!  We’ve tried to make things as easy as possible so that you can pick up a gift for a friend or relative without having to know anything about drawing or painting, saving you plenty of time to relax.

Generally speaking, we recommend drawing and sketching sets for absolute beginners as it allows you to develop your basic drawing skills and develop and understanding of subject, form and composition.  If you’re a little more advanced we would recommend an acrylic painting set as it is fast drying, washes up with soap and water and is fairly inexpensive, allowing you to mix away and experiment without breaking the bank.  If you’re a little bit more advanced than that, depending on whether they prefer working in the studio with slow drying paints or going out and about with fairly fast drying paints, there is watercolour sets and oil painting sets.
