Painting away with regular old acrylic paint straight of the tube sometimes just doesn’t cut it.  It may have the right consistency but just dries too quickly for you to keep working, or maybe dries perfectly but is just too thin to work with.  This is why we have acrylic mediums to play with!

There is a whole load of different painting effects to choose from, each one capable of completely changing the way your acrylic paints look, feel or dry, allowing you to experiment wildly beyond the original qualities of acrylic paint.
