250ml Winsor and Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Matt Varnish

Winsor & Newton's Artisan range of varnishes has been specifically designed for use with the Artisan Water-Mixable Oil Paints, allowing you to continue working with the same varnishes you would use in oil painting but maintain the ability to use water to thin the varnish and to clean your brushes and painting equipment.

Varnishing your painting after completion is highly recommended to protect it against dirt, grease and general wear & tear, but remember to leave even the thinnest oil paintings to dry for at least 6 months before varnishing, as shrinkage and cracking can appear if varnished too early.

Winsor & Newton's Artisan Water-Mixable Matt Varnish is the perfect way to finish off any painting using Artisan Oil Colours as it will help prevent damage to the painting itself, drying to a flat matt finish.

If you wish to remove the varnish to renew it or add a different finish, Winsor & Newton Artisan Varnish Remover can be used.

Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded, except larger/heavy orders which will be delivered via courier.

Orders will generally take 2-4 workings days to deliver providing the requested items are currently in stock.  If there is an issue with your order you will be informed by e-mail.
