237ml Liquitex Black Gesso Primer

When you expect nothing less than a top quality acrylic gesso primer, there's no better product to turn to than Liquitex Black Gesso. It is non-yellowing, dries quickly, is flexible and not prone to cracking and creates the perfect ground for most media including oils, acrylics and pastels.

One coat should be enought to prepare a canvas or board and can be applied straight on with a suitable brush or alternatively it can be watered down by up 25% for a thinner consistency. What makes this Gesso Primer different from any other is that it has been pre-tinted, offering you a black primer that you can apply straight to the canvas and begin painting on.

We highly recommend Liquitex Black Gesso Primer as a completely different painting surface, getting you away from painting with boring old white gesso every time and broadening those horizons!
